This is the best coffee and cookie place I have ever tasted. I love all their drinks especially their Matcha. Their cookies are so moist and so flavorful. I missed this place so much. I was so happy to be able to swing by when I visited London as I have already moved to Halifax. All their staff are friendly. Ive been to their 2 locations and they never disappoint.. I still miss their matcha and cookies and I hope I get to visit London soon again :)
Stopped by Brown Café for a mango smoothie and their salted caramel cookie, and both were lovely! The smoothie was super fresh and yummy, but the cookie, I honestly think it’s one of the best cookies I’ve ever had. Because it stays under a heat lamp it is perfectly soft, rich, and so delicious.
One of best coffee in London, also you find all the halal options. Really friendly and cooperative staff. Highly recommend.
I got the Banana Bread Matcha, and unfortunately, I found it pretty tasteless. For an almost $10 drink, it was a little disappointing, especially considering the price. The customer service was okay, but the staff wasn’t very friendly and came across as quite short and dry when speaking with customers. On the positive side, the atmosphere is honestly a 10/10! I absolutely loved the aesthetic, the music, and the overall vibe of the café. The space itself is beautiful and definitely makes for a great experience.
0 stars for this Cafe! Pricing issue and extremely rude customer service. View photos attached. My mom visited Browned Café at White Oaks Mall in London and ordered a butter croissant. The display clearly showed the Butter Croissant for $2.99, yet the receipt shows that the croissant was charged at $3.75 before tax, totaling $4.24 with HST. My mom politely brought the discrepancy to the cashier’s (Amal) attention, expecting that the advertised price would be honoured or that the difference would at least be explained. Instead, she was met with an extremely rude and dismissive attitude. Rather than trying to resolve the issue professionally, the employee, identified on the receipt as Amal S, essentially blamed the customer and was unwilling to provide a refund or properly address the concern. There was also another employee present who was similarly rude and unhelpful. What should have been a very simple pricing issue turned into an unpleasant experience for my family. To be honest, the food and drinks are also very average for the prices being charged. This was my families second time here. There are plenty of other cafés where you can get better quality and much better customer service for the same, or even less, money. If your pricing is different from what is displayed, the customer shouldn’t be blamed for pointing it out. Customer service and professionalism matter. Very disappointing experience overall.
