Cintro on Wellington

Tucked away on a quiet street, this restaurant is a true hidden gem and the standout dishes are absolutely worth making the trip. The pork neck was the star of the meal. Exceptionally tender and packed with flavor, the beautifully charred exterior added a wonderful smoky depth that paired perfectly with the citrus sauce. The combination was outstanding. The chili pepper and sliced daikon added freshness, texture, and a touch of heat, while the seasoned gai lan was a superb addition that brought a savory, vegetable component to an already well-balanced dish. This is definitely a dish I would order again. The stuffed chicken wing was another highlight. It brought back memories of popular Vietnamese street food, but with an inventive twist. Served with lettuce, you can turn it into your own lettuce wrap, adding a fun interactive element to the dish. The green sweet chili sauce had an excellent kick and complemented the savory, flavorful wings beautifully. The salmon was enjoyable but didn't quite reach the same level as the two standout dishes. The recommend side coconut rice had a very firm and burnt exterior texture. A tangy vinaigrette-style sauce helped add acidity and additional flavor to the dish. Overall, a fantastic restaurant with creative dishes, bold flavors, and plenty of character. The popularity is clearly justified, and reservations can be difficult to secure. For a party of three, a credit card is required to make a reservation, so planning ahead is highly recommended. Street parking is available and free after 6 pm.

Our first visit to Cintro in London, Ontario, and what a wonderful experience! We initially tried to make a reservation through OpenTable, but there were no available spots. My wife called the restaurant and was told that the only option available was patio seating. When we arrived, however, our server was incredibly kind and went out of their way to find us a table inside. The hospitality was just the beginning.Our Server Selene was outstanding. She was excellent. From the welcoming atmosphere to the overall dining experience, Cintro exceeded our expectations. It’s always refreshing to experience a restaurant where the staff genuinely care about making their guests feel welcome. The food was excellent and the portions were great. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Inventive Asian fusion cuisine. Spectacular service and spectacular presentation. The servers were very attentive and it included table side service. Cocktails were inventive and delicious. The inside of the restaurant had a great ambiance but reservations were hard to come by and we got a spot on the patio. Patio is nice but I would book ahead to try to get inside. Definitely a place I'd like to come back to again.

My favourite restaurant so far...anywhere. I was going to post pictures but they dont do the food justice. (It looked like beautiful art, perfect plating) Everything was amazing. Ivy served our table and set the standard for which all servers should follow. Everything was impeccable. Order lots, share everything. Incredible.

Dishes were excellent. Each bite was an explosion of flavors in my mouth! Vietnamese Fried Chicken with the bao bun was perfection

Truly fantastic food. I don’t think it’s overhyped. Really delicious and interesting presentation. Bao buns were amazing, same with the cold Tom Yum calamari, dumplings, and duck. We literally slurped every last bite of it up, even the rice. The service is a bit erratic though as I saw in other comments. They’re nice, but they gave us the wrong dish initially. It was also very cold in the back room by the windows and it is loud and you’re sitting quite close to everyone else.
