We ordered food to pick up. Food was good. Mildly expensive but what Chinese good isn't. Would order from here again
Really pricey now. Food portions are smaller then before and prices have gone up. Food is ok, not worth the price you pay in my opinion.
Went into the restaurant to order at the counter. I wanted to make a few substitutions. The woman said they can only do 1 substitution, and then changed it to 2. I offered to pay extra to substitute to a different sauce on the ribs. She said no. Took the food home. Everything was normal except instead of ribs they gave me breaded chunks of meat. The food itself was not good. Dry rice and noodles with hardly any chicken in them. Some of the chicken balls didn’t have chicken in them, and 2 were very under cooked. Spring rolls were very hard on the outside. And the so called ribs were not ribs at all. The meat that was within the breading was horrible quality. They were full of hard pieces and fat. Completely inedible. Their quality and service has gone down hill and we will no longer order from them.
Late Saturday afternoon, I dined in and ordered C1 Combo which clearly indicates Sweet & Sour Spare Ribs, however when my dish arrived there were no ribs but small pieces of deep fried batter with a small finger nail of meat inside. When I addressed this with the server I was told that my order was not for spare ribs even though it was clearly indicated on the menu. I have no idea what I received and I did try to chew a few of the pieces but it was mainly grizzle. It was absolutely disgusting and even though I addressed it, nothing was done about it. It was a "too bad so sad" situation whereby that's what you ordered. Well, it was not and because of this I will never return. I was hoping to have found a good Chinese restaurant in London after moving from Toronto but so far no luck. I've been told Congee Chan is the best so that will be my next stop for Chinese food.
Honestly I hate leaving bad reviews but here it is: We ordered a dinner for 3 which included sweet and sour ribs. There was significantly more bone and cartilage then there was meat. We were thoroughly disappointed. The bone to meat ratio was at least 8/10, this is unacceptable. We called in to complain and were basically told "oh well, you should have ordered chicken instead". The rest of the meal was decent but definitely not anything extravagant. Overpriced, bland, and generally just not a thrilling experience.
