Ordered Chinese from Golden City tonight. Food was great, service was even better. We had a miscommunication explaining that we wanted to add an extra sauce to our bill, when we called back asking about the extra sauce they were able to get their delivery driver to drive the sauce to us. Best service. Definitely will be ordering again and recommending others!
The food was absolutely delicious. The won ton soup was plentiful and lots of flavour. Meal proportions were absolutely plentiful. I have enough left over for my dinner tonite. Service was great and the place was very clean. This is my new go to for Chinese cuisine.

We are here here when first opened and we were very excited.. then the quality changed so we took a break. Read some good reviews and tried again tonight, hoping for regular good Chinese/Canadian food. Presentation was great but unfortunately the taste was plain Texture was lacking and I did not feel great post eating. It might be okay for some but I can’t go back:((
We used to come to this restaurant because they served generous portions, and the food was always fresh—especially the vegetables. Unfortunately, our visit today (July 5, 2026) was a huge disappointment. The portions have become much smaller, and the vegetables were old instead of fresh. The spring rolls were not the same as the ones shown in the photos; they were completely different and tasted sour, making them inedible. The fried rice tasted like nothing but oil and had no flavor at all. We also ordered a beef dish, and both the meat and the vegetables in the sauce tasted spoiled. It was honestly inedible. It’s really sad to see such a decline in quality. It feels like they changed the chef or the owner because this is nothing like the restaurant we used to enjoy. Sadly, we will not be coming back. Very disappointing experience. I do not recommend this restaurant.
