Impact Church

I am in my 60s. Catholic by trade, went many years always followed the principals of Jesus and the faith, within the confines of being a sinner of course! I was attending Impact Church as a favour to friends who were getting baptized for the first time-- as adults. I said sure I will come and bare witness. Little did I know, that I had come home. Wacked by something Holy, probably the Holy Spirit I was overwhelmed. It took weeks to not cry while I was there. Ever since this experience I can't get enough. I joined small group prayers, Friday morning prayers, I have another world-wide prayer group. I have 4 different bibles, I have taken a 10-part series on the Gospels. Jesus is in the forefront of my life and the wonderful people at Impact make my week. Pastors Karl and his wife Pastor Cheryl and the leadership team are truly what being wonderful humans are all about. I can't find anything to compare to this bright, beautiful beacon of a church. Full of love. Full of understanding. Final note. Pastor Karl's sermons are thorough, yet entertaining, and full of practical advice. He brings the Bible alive, and references modern day masters of the spirtual world-- and the world of Jesus to help make it relatable and comprehensive. I not only found again the centrepoint of my childhood, which was the church--I have found a family and loving community. I guess you can make anything what you want it, and I did want it somewhere deep inside, Jesus helped me find my way back to Him. Impact Church is in my personal opinion--magical. Impact Church has been such a gift in my life. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed, seen, and genuinely cared for. The teaching is solid and relatable, the worship is powerful, and there’s a real sense of community that goes beyond Sundays. It’s a place where you can grow in your faith at your own pace and feel supported along the way. The chruch gives Christmas gifts and turkey to Muslims and Hindus who DONT celebrate Christ birth. Are they Christian’s or a food bank?
