The negative reviews are clearly people who do not understand that this THE ARK Coffee House is a lifeline. This place deserves credit for providing a safe place for less fortunate and vulnerable society to go and be accepted regardless of the stigma of ‘homeless’ ‘addict’ and my fav ‘ those people’. Some are troubled and Yes there is most likely some Unwarranted negative interactions that can happen outside the building. But why highlight the bad moments about a place that is doing its best to help a community in crisis. The staff are amazing and so are many of the clientele who rely on the Coffee Shop for basic human needs. How about help and volunteer and spend time understanding instead of shaming. For the record it’s fantastic coffee and the muffins and cookies are 10/10. Please support and be part of the solution instead of making something that feels impossible on a good day, seem worse. #seetheunseen No kid grows up hoping to be destitute or dreams of living with mental health issues or losing everything to addiction. People need people and clearly they need you to buy coffee and maybe even hang out and play a game of checkers. Or have a conversation and understand, who knows maybe you might meet the next brilliant mind or breathtaking artist that just needs to be truly accepted and seen. If you hate it that much … move 🤷🏻‍♀️ #glasshalffull

Great place great staff. My advice is to go in and use what you need. Be friendly respectful and kind and stick to yourself. All sorts of people go here.

Pleasent experience with helpful personelle and had 2 hot coffee's and snacks.

Everyone giving this place a 5 star rating Works there and get to leave when it closes. They don’t see what happens when the doors close for the day. As a neighbour, I’ve watched this place transform the area in all the wrong ways. While I understand the need for places like this, this one falls short. The rampant drug use, shouting and screaming in the middle of the night, the theft, and even needles on the sidewalk where the children in the area use to walk to school. The London Coffee house seems to do very little to actually help the residents beyond offering a cup of coffee and a donut - there’s no real support or structure. Staff don’t seem to care, and the neighbourhood is feeling the strain. The London Coffee House isn’t solving any problems - it’s just moving them around. Again, the staff get to leave to their save neighbourhoods while we, the neighbours in the area get to suffer.

How is this place still standing People are screaming outside, people smoke drugs outside and across the street on that corner house there Rude welcoming when all you wanted to know was what this place even was all about Dogs are left outside in the freezing cold so animal cruelty and abuse I really think people need to recalibrate on these types of locations Had one of their junkies on my porch yesterday Tues Dec 23 2025 and yeah that's not going to solve this drug possession problem

Absolutely not. This establishment is horrible for the neighbourhood, and everything surrounding it. As someone who lives across the street.
