MEAT KANDY BBQ

We had Meat Kandy- Steve and his crew- cater our wedding this past weekend. WHAT AN AMAZING MEAL. We received an incredible amount of compliments from our guests on our food, hearing more than once “this is the kind of wedding food people will REMEMBER!” Steve and his family were so easy to deal with, from our first phone call to book, to saying goodbye the evening of our wedding, everything was seamless and smooth. Steve mentioned more than once “I want to be the least of your worries on your big day”. And that he was!! He had all of our 140 mouths to feed in under 45 minutes, and everyone loved the atmosphere of walking up to the food truck to get their meal. We chose Brisket, 1/4 chicken, and Meat Kandy “burnt ends” for our protein options and they were all incredible. 🔥 Not to mention our smash fries and dill slaw, the whole meal had our mouths watering the whole time. Massive portions left our guests wanting more but also asking for doggy bags to take extras home. Steve even gave my groom and I a wedding gift of sauces and rubs to try! They are so thoughtful!! We cannot wait to keep trying Steve’s food going forward at the Gilbraltar Market in London. We WILL be back for more. I couldn’t have asked for better from Steve and his family. My work had the meat kandy come to provide us lunch, the fries were incredible, the candied bacon on the burger was delicious! the owner was friendly, funny and kind! would for sure go back!

This place will big your back! The food goes hard. They really put their heart and soul into their food, glad to see they have been booked and busy. Dangerously delicious.

Enjoyed the food for a work event, was delicious loved the fries and burger. Owner was hilarious and gassed the food up and rightfully so was 10/10!

2 stars because food was great. Ate here at an event recently. Food was great, however the owner was being extremely rude to his employees to the point he was walking them behind the food truck to chew them out. Made for a very uncomfortable experience overall.

I have been to events with this vendor this person is extremely rude thinks hes the best ever talks down to people hes smoking around the food swearing at everyone around him says hes wanted everywere and doesn't care what we think so to anyone that wants this person at there event I say look elsewhere I love the response trying to talk all professional and innocent I should have called the health unit I should have taken a picture of you smoking in the door of the food truck and posted it You didn't hide anywhere that's all you could smell outside your food truck Also lots of people complaining about your behavior dont know why they haven't come on to post a review but if that's what you want il get them to tell.you what they think of you Thanks
