Checked out this London institution. Generous portions for lunch, no wait and the menus were vinyl covers

Came here for dinner on a Saturday. We ordered the chicken fettuccine and the spaghetti. Portions sizes like most people said were massive, we did end up taking leftovers. They could have used a bit more flavoring. The chicken fettuccine you did have to add more seasoning yourself since it was a bit bland. Wait time wasn’t bad and service was prompt. Overall a decent experience.

Amazing food and great value, but unfortunately the front staff had a poor attitude. I made a reservation through their website, but when I arrived I was told they don't accept reservations for two. I pointed out that I wasn't sure why their website allowed me to make one, and tried to work it out with them, but the staff member was defensive and told me to wait. I waited about 30 minutes, and then they started seating people who didn't have reservations before me. At that point, I decided to leave. I had brought my date there for our first date, and I was honestly embarrassed by the situation and felt like the way it was handled made me look incompetent in front of my date. It's unfortunate because I've been there many times in the past and have really enjoyed the food, but I won't accept being treated that way by staff, despite how much I miss the food.

We decided to go here tonight for dinner as we’ve been before. We walked in and waited 35 minutes for a table as people came in, cut in front of us and got food before we even got sat. Once we were sat, we waited probably 15 minutes to get our drink and another 25 for even our appetizer. Once we got it, it was burnt and it was very disappointing. After we were done eating, we were planning on getting dessert but we were rushed out, given the bill, and weren’t even offered dessert. As we were walking out we saw many people waiting, so assuming they just needed our table. We were extremely disappointed as this was a birthday dinner.

The atmosphere is cool. But the food quality is just awful. They recently posted a job add expecting chefs to start at minimum wage, that says it all.
