I’ve been a member of the YMCA Stoney Creek Branch for the past 3 years, and I can honestly say that the YMCA Stoney Creek branch is a great place to start and maintain your fitness journey. The gym area is really bright and welcoming, with large windows facing the greenery, which makes working out feel refreshing and relaxing. The swimming facility is also very good, and the swimming instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, and do a great job helping swimmers improve their skills. I would also like to give special mention to the manager, Kriss Rostran. He is very helpful, approachable, and genuinely cares about members and their experience. His happy and welcoming face when you enter the gym can instantly lift your mood and, for a moment, makes you forget the worries and troubles of the workday. His positive attitude and willingness to help really make a difference. After 3 years as a member, I truly appreciate the welcoming atmosphere, good facilities, friendly staff, and the sense of community at the YMCA Stoney Creek branch. It’s a great place for fitness, swimming, and overall well-being. I would definitely recommend it to others!

I’ve been going to the YMCA with my mom and husband to use the pool, as my doctor recommended swimming to help with some of the lower back issues I’ve been experiencing. I have to say, my experience with the staff has been absolutely amazing. The lifeguards are phenomenal. They are incredibly attentive, responsive, and genuinely observant of what’s happening around the pool. They don’t just sit there, they’re actively paying attention and making sure everyone is safe and comfortable. I especially appreciate how they check in on me from time to time. It’s such a small gesture, but it really shows how caring and thoughtful they are. I’ve mostly interacted with Ben on the front administration side, and he has always been friendly and helpful as well. Overall, the staff at this YMCA are truly wonderful. It’s clear that they care about the people who come in, and that makes the experience feel so welcoming and comfortable. I’m really grateful to have such a great place and such an amazing team to come to!
The facility is very well-kept, and the staff at the front desk are super friendly. Kriss gave us a wonderful tour and helped us choose the right family membership. He is extremely knowledgeable and a truly great person.
My kid goes here for swimming lessons. The facility is always clean and well maintained. We’ve had a great experience so far!
