Tia's place is a gem hidden in Strathroy.
We had the fish and chips and the Pasta De Marisco, which was a seafood pasta. The fries with the fish were one of the best fries I've had. Really crisp without being burnt and the fish with the tartar sauce was delicious. The seafood pasta came with plenty of seafood to share between two people. It contains clams, mussels, shrimp, and calamari. I'm usually not a big fan of calamari, but Tia's Place made me a believer.
The location is calm and there are plenty of parking on the streets around the restaurant. There was a bit of wait for the food but it was truly worth it. This might be a favorite place of ours moving forward. Would recommend for a night out.
Incredible people and incredible food. Tia's was fantastic. The variety is perfect to guarantee something for everyone. Very authentic flavours in every dish we had.
My wife and I went there for dinner and I must say that this was the best meal I have had in a long time. We had mussels and bruschetta for apps. The flavour of the mussels was perfect, and the fresh bread served with it was used to dip every bit of the sauce.
For our mains, we had pasta eu pescador and the bacalhau a Bras. Both were made with care and the flavours again were perfect. The slightly fried fish in the bacalhau was delicious and the seafood pasta was enjoyed with every bite.
Highly recommend for all and will be returning to enjoy the food with another great glass of red. Thank you for a great night out. Saúde!!
My wife, son and I stopped in for dinner tonight. It was excellent. We got the muscles and shrimp starters and it was on point the best I've had in a long time. We then got the tias new your steak and bitouque steak and they were cooked perfectly. The side portions were a good size as well. We will definitely be putting this on our date list for future dinners.
