Tyler is a certified, trained Aquascape installer, and his specialized expertise completely shines through in his work. Our pond-less waterfall is a true masterpiece that anchors the entire yard. Our most recent addition is another absolute showstopper: a custom wooden roof structure over our rear patio. TYDAN built it to perfection, complete with a durable steel roof, beautiful skylights, vented soffits, and a ceiling fan. This structure has completely transformed how we live—our family now spends almost every single day outside, and it has become the ultimate prime location for entertaining guests. From day one, Tyler and Paul have been incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, informative, and professional. They worked closely with us every step of the way to create a comprehensive master plan. They perfectly balanced our budget, aesthetic goals, and preferred materials while flawlessly navigating local building guidelines and City bylaws. The owners of Tydan, Tyler & Paul, are kind, friendly, sincere, polite, cooperative, knowledgeable and professional. They fulfilled all of our requests. Their helper, Luke, was a quiet, thoughtful and diligent laborer. (There was no smoking, swearing or drinking, as we have seen with some previous contractors.) Edit: Sitting in the backyard tonight and thinking how literally perfect it is for our family. We’re 3 years beyond completion and still don’t have a single change or “wish I could have” or “maybe we should have.” Wanted to pop in and let y’all know their design and craftsmanship and attention to detail hold up over time. — — Well, we started with a home-owner special of a deck that was disintegrating under our feet (which wasn't good since it was on the second story, that's a long fall) and ended with a gorgeous outdoor living space with a protected hot tub underneath connected all with the most beautiful and practical patio my feet have had the pleasure of walking on. If you are even remotely thinking "yep, I can totally build a deck, dig drainage trenches, lay huge stone slabs and put in a flagstone patio all by myself" ....probably don't? The amount of details and decisions that I didn't even know had to be made to build all this correctly, functionally, and beautiful boggles my mind. Just call these guys and let them handle the stress of all that. Backyards are for relaxing after all :) And after having our new backyard for just about a year now I can confidently say they helped us make the perfect design decisions for us. Not a single thing we would change.

It is rare to find a team that can take a vision and turn it into a reality that looks even better than imagined. We first began working with Tydan Landscape in the fall of 2025 and they returned to complete the transformation of our front and back yards this spring. They took our vague ideas and created a true backyard sanctuary featuring a stunning pondless waterfall and beautiful landscape lighting. They brought so many extra thoughts to the designs that we hadn’t considered and the results speak for themselves. A new front walkway to complement the new backyard walkway and patio along with new plantings of shrubs and native perennials are a welcome addition to our front yard. Tyler built a one-of-a-kind garden gate and trellis with a ‘peek-through’ into our new backyard oasis. It’s those kind of small, intentional details that separate their work from the rest. Every time I look outside, I say “Wow!” If you want a team that brings skill, sustainability and a personal touch to a project, I cannot recommend Tyler and Paul of Tydan Landscape enough.

We recently had landscaping work completed and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We had a bubbling rock feature in our yard that started to lose water from the reservoir. I called Tydan Landscaping to assess the problem and fix it for me. They were quick to respond. And after a visit to check out the problem, they were quick to offer a solution and estimate. Once the paperwork was signed they worked to get a problem fixed efficiently and neatly. Tyler and his crew were a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them for any such hard landscaping issues.
