This was our first time visiting and we very much enjoyed our meal. We have eaten at many AYCE across Canada and Umi Sushi is one of the best. We are very picky and our sashimi was of good quality and fresh. The steak was very tender and tasty. We will definitely come back again. Our experience was very positive. The server was very friendly and our food was served quickly.
This food slaps me harder than I slap bags of dirt at the garden centre. But you do need to scan a QR code to order food and I know some people don't like that, and the staff sometimes forget food you ordered. Still DELICIOUS though.

My first time trying this place, first impressions were not the greatest as we walked in on a Saturday evening to the place being empty. I was served room temperature water. Everything that was served, felt, and seemed very low quality, just look at the pictures posted. The Nigiri pieces were paper thin and fishy tasting. The cheese wontons were literally inedible. Don’t get them. The salmon fried rice was also inedible to stay away from it. I believe they use old salmon pieces and just fry it with the rice. Overall, the fish was inedible. DONT COME HERE. SAVE YOUR MONEY. The best thing here were the store-bought mozzarella sticks. 2.3/5
Came here for my birthday tonight and was extremely disappointed. For the cost of $94 for two people, the food was very subpar, even considering it’s all you can eat. The fried items were cooked in old oil, which gave everything a bitter aftertaste. The service was incredibly slow and inconsistent as there was only one server for the entire place, leading to items taking long to arrive and often being served to the incorrect table. The protein in the sushi rolls was incredibly skimpy, the rolls are served in sets of 4 to 6, and often the protein inside would be small, causing 1 or 2 of the rolls you get to be only vegetable. I understand sometimes that happens, but this was consistently across all rolls so it was really disappointing, especially given the price is quite high. The bathrooms were unclean and smelled strongly of urine, and the main doors to the bathrooms are propped open, I assume to try and dissipate the smell but due to that the stalls are fully visible if you walk into the back area of the restaurant. Also, final random thing, the restaurant playlist was about 5 songs long and just kept repeating.
