East Village Animal Hospital

For 10 years, East Village Animal Hospital and their wonderful staff have provided me and my beautiful cat with unmatched care, compassion and understanding. The affordability is a bonus compared to their values and dedication. While my little girl is now at peace, they have done so much and went so far beyond their call of duty to ensure her wellbeing every step of the way. I'd give 1000 stars if I could because I can't recommend them enough. Thank you for all you've done. You've made a huge difference in our lives.

Sadder post but yesterday my boyfriend brought in his sick kitty and we found out she was at the end of her life, I don't think there are enough words to express the gratitude we have for the ladies at EVAH. This was an extremely devastating day for us but the patience, kindness and love they showed our Peaches and us. They made sure we understood everything, and didn't rush us in any choice. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

They have since refunded the prepaid exam fee much to their credit. I am happier with them but will still include my original review. Since I do not have a car, my 85 year old mother was kind enough to drive me all the way across town to this appointment to have my indoor cat's vaccines updated. I had already paid a deposit fee for the appointment. However, the staff had a hard time getting my cat to stay still and seemed upset that he has claws. Instead of giving the vaccines to him immediately while he was calm, they insisted on poking and prodding him for an "exam". Then it was time for the vaccines and he was upset.They tried to hold him and gave up, telling me he was too aggressive. I begged them to try one more time so they went and got gloves and a face guard for the cat ..stuff they should have used on the first try.. but by this point my cat was completely riled up and three of them could not figure out how to hold him. I went to go near him to try to calm him and was told sharply by the vet to "stand back"! from my own pet. They would not give him the vaccines and said I had to buy sedation medication and give it to him prior to another appointment. So all that way for nothing in bad traffic and road construction. My mother is not going to go through all this again so I guess I lose my money and have to find a more expensive clinic near me to get the vaccines. Oh and now I got a letter saying I am no longer allowed to bring any pet to their clinics in London Hamilton or Kitchener Wow...cannot handle criticism, I guess

very unprofessional, always have attitude issues. thanks to them i had to put my cat down because for months they were playing email games with me until they finally brought her in for an emergency appointment, where I found out she needed put down because they didnt want to help us for months. now I book 2 appointments for my new pets and again attitude issues and email games, canceled both appointments when I wasn't even rude or disrespectful, im sick of these vets with people that shouldn't be around pets at all working with them. now thanks to them both my pets have to suffer and not get the help or surgery they need to stay healthy because they want to be disrespectful and play email games, thank EVAH!!!!!!! truly disgusting.
