We had a mixed experience in our family with gymnastics. Our kids didn't love it but I can honestly say that the staff did their best to encourage all the children and focus on their particular strengths and weaknesses. Dawn and Beth (I think that was their names) are both caring, enthusiastic, and welcoming. The gym can be very busy during class change over just beware if you are popping in as you may have to wait to talk to staff.

My daughters have been going here for years. Great coaches and staff!
5/5 Atmosphere and to all the ladies and gents that work there.
Terrible. Run far away. We couldn’t say worse things about their girls and boys competitive program. Our kids are THRIVING since they’ve switched out of Forest City’s program. Edited 12/2025 to add: We are correcting the record to their response—because it misrepresents the facts. We were fully settled. Commitment and attendance were not issues. Our family now intentionally split time between the U.S. and Canada, and our children train at two other gyms in two different countries. Both programs are exceptional, athlete-centered, and have raised zero concerns. Our children continue to thrive there. The issues we experienced were specific to this program and its culture. Over time, it became clear that opportunity and athlete experience were driven by favoritism rather than consistency or development. If a child was not a preferred athlete, they did not thrive. And there parents were not responded to. Period. And now comparing gyms, we see the blatant coaching incompetence that we actually experienced during our time at Forest City. What ultimately confirms our concerns is not that you disagree with our experience, but how you chose to respond. Rather than reflect, you publicly attributed our feedback to instability, lack of commitment, or attendance—none of which is accurate. That deflection is precisely the culture we encountered and why we left. Our children are now thriving in environments where fairness, accountability, and athlete well-being come first. We stand by our review.
