We are deeply grateful to the entire team at Parkwood Geriatric Mental Health for the exceptional care and compassion they showed our father over the years. From the moment he was admitted with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD), every doctor, nurse, and staff member treated him with kindness, dignity, and patience, always prioritizing his safety and well-being. Special thanks to Dr. Achatar, Dr. Maria, Talya, Lucy, and all the nurses involved in his care. Your empathy and professionalism made an enormous difference in our father's life, and our family will always be thankful. Even from heaven, our father would thank you for the love and care you gave him.

I was admitted to park wood on September 4th and endured a deeply troubling experience. Upon arrival, I was confined to a small room with no means of communication or escape. The only items provided were a makeshift toilet, a single blanket, and a bed that was uncomfortably hard. For six hours, I was left alone without any updates or explanations. There was no staff interaction, and I felt completely isolated. This lack of basic care and communication is unacceptable in any healthcare setting. When I was finally seen, the medical staff seemed unaware of the conditions I had been subjected to. This lack of coordination and oversight raises serious concerns about the hospital’s operations. I urge [Parkwood] to review its patient care protocols to ensure that no one else has to endure such an experience. Patients deserve respect, dignity, and timely care.

Parking Lot 1’s machine almost never works. I have a monthly pass and 4 out of 5 times it tells me the lot is full, even when it’s completely empty, so I’m constantly having to press the help button just to get in. On top of that, for people without passes, the machine eats credit cards and now doesn’t even accept coins, leaving them with no way to pay or park there. The whole setup is extremely frustrating.
