Village Green Community Church

I found this church go over and above the call of duty! Everyone is friendly and go out of there way to make you feel welcomed into there church. I felt like I had been there for a very long time even though it was my first time attending. The pastor made himself available to introduce himself and went out of his way at the end of his sermon to shake my hand and said they would love me to attend again! I was more than impressed with his sermon and there willingness to accept a stranger in amongst there regular members. I intend to keep coming there now after a month of attending there services. I have gone online to there services since I was unable to make it these past few weeks but totally want to attend in person on a regular basis. Thank you all for the pleasant experience.

We have been attending Village Green about six months, and felt welcomed the first time we walked through the doors. The worship is Spirit-led and the teaching is Biblically-based. Pastor Jon is a gifted communicator and clearly presents the Gospel. The small group ministry is the key to the spiritual growth at Village Green. This is our new church home.

Great church. The Pastor is very nice and I enjoy his sermons. The band is great & all very kind & understanding communiy.

Good sermons- I dont sense the pastor is genuine about intent of his sermons tho. Almost every time, he shares a quality point, he apologizes to people for saying it, then even to (for some worldly gain) lighten the mood of bunch of old boomers, he encouraged them to laugh (showing non seriousness or joking attitude) on topics where Bible says- find who is serious and is bothered about level of lawlessness (Biblical i mean). Like why even play around, just give a superficial make all happy and laugh sermons, why fool around with good topics and good points but then laugh it all out and show that you are just fooling around with Bible in your hand. No kidding- he understands the Biblical logic but is ashamed of it and apologizes to say what is purely Biblical. It is sad environment (biblically speaking), he knows the Bible and touches solid topics but cant be honest about it. Those boomers dont love Bible either, their kids and generations would be in this church or have created a Biblical environment than feeling outside church environment is responsible for the condition inside such churches.
