I love this centre! I’ve been going in more recently for certain things and I’ve never had a bad experience. I have Dr Elahi and she is so sweet! Very thorough, clear, efficient, and considerate! I use to be scared of the doctor’s office growing up but Dr Elahi, the reception, and anyone else who I’ve interacted with there has definitely erased that fear!
I've gone to this clinic all my life. The staff are generally great - 5 stars for them! Updating my review because the phone system seems new and works so so much better than what they have previously had.
Went to the Walk-in clinic Saturday morning and Dr. Sudicky was on duty and was exceptional. He was very professional and helpful in my situation. I greatly appreciate the walk-in clinic hours and the Doctors at Windermere.
Update: I called a different day and a different receptionist was able to request what I needed no issue. Apologies sent from my doctor for the mix up. Awesome. Thank you for hearing me out. I love my doctor, she is fantastic. Normally the administration are good too but this morning was quite unacceptable. I understand that health care is in crisis, you are overwhelmed. However, Laura repeating the same line to me is not going to foster anything but frustration for us both. What am I supposed to do when YOUR office faxed the wrong prescription and the pharmacy won't do anything about it on their end? I told her they sent a request already and got the wrong one faxed back. The pharmacy told me to call my doctor. It would be much simpler if we could just check with the doctor directly or a nurse. Online medical care would be something to consider where she can return my concerns at her pace. Because now I'm stuck between two offices that refuse to communicate and fix their mistakes.
Dr Paradis, a family dr, my wife has been experiencing perimenopause. She explained all the symptoms but he wasnt hesitant and said her bloodworkwas normal. (This is a very common thing that family drs do. Guidelines say that if your between this and this then your normal. But ask the same question to a hormone specialist and they will show you different. Dr Paradis put my wife on 2 hormones after bloodwork and symptoms of perimenopause. 7 months with no follow up. The low doses and ill informed prescription caused her to continue to experience perimenopause symptoms and get worse. After consulting with a hormone specialist, it was confirmed that she should of been on testosterone gel as well as bloodwork every 3 months to discuss numbers AND symptoms. Which would of determined an increased protocol aince the dose was too low. I called his office to discuss her symptoms and new knowledge. He blamed my wife for not reaching out for 7 months. When you're in a funk, you don't think properly as youre struggling with so many things everyday. He should not be prescribing hormones and playing specialist as a GP. Let the specialists do their damn job. He wouldn't refer until she came in and do bloodwork again. Family Dr's have no business playing specialist. Just refer patients to a hormone specialist and let them determine what's best. He doesn't not listen and rushes you.
Can't get in to see your doctor in a timely manner and getting in to the after hours walk in is a joke. You call right at 4pm day after day only to be told they are all booked. But then if you go to another walk in they aren't happy. And people wonder why the hospitals are so busy.
