Dr. Olivia Coish saved my dogs life. My 5 year old fluffy French Bulldog has a very rare Kidney disease and we were given a very low chance of survival but Dr. Coish knew exactly what to do. Without hesitation, she stepped up and took on the challenge that most would pass on. My sweet baby boy has gained back full quality of life, he's acting like a puppy again!. I am forever grateful for what Dr. Coish has done and the gift she has given my family and I. Words cannot describe the severity of the situation and how indebted we are. We love and appreciate you so much Dr.!!

I moved from the GTA back home and needed a new vet for my kitty GusGus and after searching reviews on Facebook and Google I landed on Abbeydale. I was seeking out a veterinarian who cat people were happy with and Dr. Story came up a bunch in the threads. So far the service has been great. Dr. Story is great with my fuzz ball and I appreciate that he listens to my concerns but also doesn't try to upsell or push anything on him. I truly feel he has taken care of my cat, especially since he's had chronic ear infections that finally have seem to have dissipated. And to a degree knows how to handle an anxious cat mom.
Folks have mentioned how expensive this place is, but compared to Toronto the prices, I pay less on top of my insurance being cheaper. I have compared notes to other pet owners in the area and I don't see a huge difference in costs. Plus, as a choice I'd rather support an independent vet.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place, especially for cats!

**2026 EDIT** I originally posted this review 9 years ago!! Abbeydale is still 5 stars, they are so amazing with my dog, and my sister's cat. Everyone is always so friendly and genuine. My dog had a dental procedure completed today. The doctors and staff are wonderful! I appreciate y'all - thank you so much for your kindness and care!!
