As a Professional Piano Player in London, I get to play at a lot of Retirement Residences. Fox Hollow is always the highlight of my month when I get to play the Beautiful Grand Piano to an amazing, engaged audience. I'm thankful to Tanis, not just because she brought me in to entertain over the year, but is Always there when I'm playing at Fox Hollow. Not many Executive Directors - take time to watch the entertainment. And the staff is always so helpful bringing everyone to my concerts and they always bring a smile to my face. Over the past three years, we have had the opportunity to experience Follow Hollow Retirement Residence, and overall, we were very impressed.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They took the time to answer all of our questions and made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. It was clear that they truly care about the residents and go out of their way to create a supportive and friendly environment.
The residence itself was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The common areas felt inviting, and there were plenty of spaces for residents to relax or socialize. We also appreciated the variety of activities and programs available, which seem to encourage both engagement and a strong sense of community.
One of the standout aspects was the atmosphere—it felt more like a home than a facility. There was a sense of warmth and respect that really stood out to us.
We especially want to highlight a recent internal move for our mom, from independent living to assisted living. During this transition, all of the managers worked together as a team to make the experience completely seamless. Their coordination, communication, and genuine care made what could have been a stressful time feel smooth and well-supported, and we’re incredibly grateful for that.
Overall, our experience has been very positive, and we would feel confident recommending Follow Hollow Retirement Residence to anyone looking for a caring and comfortable place for themselves or a loved one.
The entire team at Fox Hollow is magnificent. The genuine care they provide for their residents is truly exceptional. Our dad now proudly considers this his home.
The facilities are beautiful and the food is really good—but where they truly shine is their people. The nursing team, led by Kerrie and supported by Shari, provides remarkable compassion and professionalism. Paige brings such warmth and energy to the activities, and Tanis is an outstanding Executive Director.
Their communication and ability to navigate complex health appointments is exceptional. I honestly couldn’t speak more highly of Fox Hollow and their entire team.
My wife and I moved into a retirement apartment in Fox Hollow London in early 2023. We find it difficult to say enough wonderfull things about our life here. There are leadership people here who are simply amazing in going above and beyond expectations to meet our needs, answer our questions, and respond to suggestions. The tenants in the apartments are a sharing, caring community, and you cannot stay a stranger very long. Fox Hollow provides an array of services, functions and activities for virtually everyone. We simply love it here.
Mom lived at Fox Hollow for 2 years and she was very happy.
The staff and management team are outstanding and the level of care provided was top shelf.
The room was spacious and Mom felt at home her entire stay. Moving out to her new home was tough for Mom but she absolutely loved the surprise gesture from Shannon on the Fox Hollow team. She will treasure that forever.

I recently spent 30 days in post-surgery respite at Fox Hollow Retirement Residence and I am pleased to share some highlights of my experience there. Firstly, I was very impressed with the suite that had been decorated by Patty and Ginny. It was evident at first glance that great care had been taken to make it welcoming, inviting and homey, from the large “Relax” and “Joy” ornaments to the welcome wreath on the door. When I actually moved into the suite for my temporary stay following surgery, there was a personalized mug with my name on it! The fridge was stocked with a variety of beverages, my favourite teas were in the cupboard and a plate of individually-wrapped shortbread cookies was on the counter next to the Keurig and a box of K-cup coffee pods. The bed was so comfy and great to sleep on, even for someone with back problems. The entire building, which was brand new, was attractive and bright, being filled with
natural light.
The very best feature, however, was the outstanding kindness, helpfulness and attitude of service of every single member of the staff, whether they were at the front desk, in the kitchen, serving in the dining room, working as PSW’s or whatever. I can’t say enough good things about them and Patty did a very thorough job of answering my many emails and all my questions. You really can’t go wrong if you choose Fox Hollow for a respite or convalescent stay.
As to the residents who live permanently in this pet- friendly residence, my impression was that they were content, friendly and happy, with access to an impressive program of fitness and recreational activities. I had a lovely time there!
