We moved into our new home last year and wanted to finish the basement. This was the largest project my wife and I had taken on as homeowners, so we did our homework, getting quotes and meeting with several companies. We decided to go with Oak based on both their price and the planning experience we had with them before signing.
When the work started, the crew was respectful of our home and very communicative about when work would be done and how long it would take. Any issues we found or changes we wanted were accepted graciously and handled well.
The drywall, painting, trim, flooring, bathroom cultured marble shower installation—all of it was done properly and looks great.

We hired Oak42 to complete a full renovation of two bathrooms (and a refresh of a third) and are very happy we did. Steven and his team (Jim, Kess, and Grayson), along with the other trades, were a pleasure to work with. Some highlights:

*Excellent guidance*. Steven and Jim listened carefully to what we wanted (a clean, modern spa-like atmosphere) and offered expert insights throughout.
*High-quality carpentry*. Steven recommended a local carpenter, Simon Thorel, to build the vanity units to spec, and the craftsmanship is outstanding.
A few other things we appreciated: renovation projects inevitably involve minor hiccups, but Steven addressed even the smallest issues with professionalism and care.
Finally, the estimate and costing were accurate, clear, and transparent. There were no surprises. Steven recommended high-quality products that stayed within our stated budget.

Steven Kavinsky and Oak 42 Ltd did renovations on our house, adding a kitchen, moving rooms around, adding the amenities we needed. We loved working with Steven, Jim his foreman, Casey, and all the subcontractors. The work was beautiful! Steven is very good with people - and he did what he said he'd do.
