Oak West Animal Clinic

This is my second visit to this clinic. The first time I was there to register my puppy the day we received him. He was not with me, however the receptionist was great and made me feel welcome. Also she made my making his first visit very reassuring. My second visit was today with Benji. I met the technician and the Doctor. He was given his next shots and some other medication and an appointment was made for 4 weeks time for the rest of his shots. The cost is very reasonable and I would recommend this clinic to anyone in need of a good vet. And of course a friendly will managed clinic.

Wow! What an amazing experience we had here today. This is our first puppy and we were so stressed and overwhelmed when we were told Milo needed emergency attention for his ear infections. We saw the reviews for here and gave them a call, they took our info and were prepped and ready right when we got there 15 minutes later. They were very upfront about prices, even on the phone, which made us feel so much better. Everyone we dealt with was so calming and caring and made us feel seen and comfortable. As new dog owners they explained everything in great detail before moving onto the next step and answered the million questions we had. They communicated very well what was going on and reassured us multiple times, without us asking, that he was doing okay when he was stressed, worried, and where they were in his treatment. They clearly explained any side effects, the next steps and at home treatment in detail that we feel confident in his recovery. We have never been made to feel so comfortable in such an uncomfortable and scary situation. I never once felt out of the conversation or disregarded, decisions were being made with us and our input. It was such an amazing experience and we were in and out within 1.5 hours with great attention to detail. They also were super kind to our other pup who was worried about his brother 😊 We would highly recommend here for any of your fur babies needs and this would be our first call if anything were to ever happen again. Absolutely incredible team. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness, compassion, and support. They were completely transparent about costs and treatment options, making sure I understood everything every step of the way. My pup felt calm and comfortable with them throughout the entire visit. What meant the most was their willingness to work within my budget while still ensuring my dog received the care she needed. They truly went above and beyond and treated us with such understanding and respect. I am incredibly grateful for their help and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of urgent veterinary care.

I have only had experience with Judith, their physiotherapist. I have followed Judith from her previous place of work and have been a client with her for nearly a decade. Judith is the best human, is amazing with dogs and is absolutely incredible at her job. We love going to see Judith for laser and physio. She is always great to talk to and has supported me through end of life care decisions for my late dog as well as helped guide me on ensuring my Springer is comfortable with his arthritis as he ages. I can't shut up about Judith!

Oak West/Oakridge are the best veterinary clinics. The clinic itself is clean and well-organized. The team is supportive, compassionate, and professional. My cat Freddie loved seeing Dr. Wells; her knowledge and kindness have helped him immensely. We said goodbye to Freddie on July 21st, 2026. The wonderful staff members took excellent care of him. They made such a painful and difficult decision somewhat a little bearable, and I will always be grateful for their care and dedication to Freddie🤍

Our 5 mos old kitten Cheddar was very ill and after a referral we went here. The staff were fantastic, knowledgeable and caring. From the minute we walked in we were treated with respect and compassion. Now all 3 of our animals are patients.
