My mother recently passed after having spent three years at Windemere on the Mount. I would recommend this facility without hesitation. It is aesthetically beautiful and the staff are kind, helpful and compassionate. My mom wasn’t always the easiest to get along with but the nurses, concierge staff and kitchen/dining room employees were unfailingly warm and professional. There are lots of activities and outings to take part in, and a tuck shop for essentials. My mom’s suite was beautiful, with lots of windows and tons of space for all her things. Again, I’d recommend anyone take a tour here - it’ll feel like home as soon as you walk in.
Our father recently moved into Windermere on the Mount and the experience has been incredibly positive! This was realized from the beginning in the initial contact with Glenda Cumming, the Lifestyle Consultant who provided excellent service by way of presenting all the information we required, answering all of our questions and following up with us throughout the entire application and move in process. In addition, her efforts and genuine attitude are reflective of the entire staff. Everyone, staff and residents alike, have gone out of their way to make our father feel welcome.
The services offered are extensive and varied, and the physical surroundings in the building as well as the grounds outside are wonderful. Coming from a scenario of living in a house on his own to living in a community with others has increased his opportunity to engage daily with others and more easily participate in social situations and activities that interest him. He has expressed his delight with the move, with the only regret that he had not done it sooner! Our expectations have been surpassed and we are all very happy with the experience.
My Dad recently moved to Windermere on the Mount and the experience has been very positive. To be honest most people don’t look forward to leaving their cherished home and giving up some independence, but the caring and welcoming staff, along with the beautiful home-like setting go a long way to helping make the transition easier. We couldn’t be happier with the staff, activities, food and beautiful home-like setting. It is evident that the staff are well trained and care about the residents.
Windermere on the Mount is such a lovely, warm and welcoming community. My dad is very excited to move in. The suites are beautiful the grounds are so serene.
Since our first visit to discuss the potential move with Glenda Cummings to the medical review with Olga to final signing the contract with Lynn was amazing. Very caring and comforting. Answered all our questions with patience and knowledge

are kind, efficient, helpful, cheerful and always professional. I worried needlessly that Mom’s sudden transition from home to Windermere, after Dad’s death, would be extremely difficult. Thank you everyone at Windermere on the Mount for all you do to make her happy and comfortable, seen and heard.
Recently moved my parents from their home of 60 years to the Mount. During the entire process myself and my parents felt totally supported and welcomed by the staff at Windemere on the Mount. Our transition experience has been incredibly easy and pain free. My parents love their new location and it is all thanks for the staff!
