My overall experience with Neighbourhood Pet Clinic has been good depending what vet you see. I recently had a poor experience when requesting to vaccinate my dog for his first rabies shot which has now led me to believe they don't have your best interests in mind (repeat visits for more money). I had called in advance to see if my dog was old enough to be vaccinated for rabies, they told me they won't tell me that over the phone and its up to the vet, fair, so I booked a vet visit for the vaccination. I was told that 12 weeks is too young and they could only do the DAPP right now, they charged me over 200$ for that single shot and now wanted me to book again for the rabies shot. I spoke to multiple vets in london and looked on animal controls website, 12 weeks is more than acceptable for a puppy to receive their rabies shot. They also suggested my dog was underweight but clearly this vet that i saw during that appointment has no idea about sighthounds and where they have fat. Overall, this visit has ruined my mostly good experience and I'm going to be taking my animal elsewhere.

When I brought my daschund there for medical issues the vet tried to push an IVDD narrative. When i challenged her she tried to pull up my dogs xrays to say she thought ivdd. When i showed how none of his disk showed bulging or displacement she said oh you know about ivdd... yes. Then magically she arrived at pancreatitus. 1600$ later. Trying to push a medical condition that costs 4k+ to confirm when the animal shows no sign of it. After xrays ans bloodtests Is tantamount to malpractice and youre lucky I didnt report the vet and your company to the CVO. Be wary. Get a 2nd opinion.

It’s not good. The one Indian woman vet that they have here is afraid of dogs. I don’t recommend this place at all.
